Centric just announced its new Collection Management Module that leverages Centric’s Collection Book for Fashion iPad App for customer catalog presentations. The new module—the latest addition to Centric’s robust Centric 8 PLM software system—enables marketing, merchandising and sales teams to create highly-targeted, instantly updated collection catalogs for customer presentations.

Here’s how it works. Marketing, merchandising and sales teams use Collection Management to create catalogs tailored specifically to a customer. The information they’re using comes directly from the Centric 8 PLM system, so customers only see the most updated product information and offerings. Then, using any computer with an internet connection, customers can log in to a personalized portal to view their custom-made catalog. Or, sales teams can use Centric’s patent-pending Collection Book for Fashion iPad App to show customized catalogs at the customer’s office, on the floor at a tradeshow or at a buying event.

According to Centric’s CEO Chris Groves, this is an industry game-changer because it eliminates the need for expensive, quickly-outdated printed catalogs that most fashion, luxury goods and consumer goods companies use today.

“Using Centric 8’s accurate product information to create and present customized, targeted and accurate catalogs, the customer’s experience and satisfaction improves,” notes Groves.

The module is flexible, allowing marketing, sales or merchandising teams to:
